Before

Meet Hal, a 74-year-old salesman, who came to me with a goal to lose weight and improve his overall health. When we first started working together, Hal had a noticeable hernia along the midline of his abdomen that visibly protruded, and basic movements like getting up and down from the floor were a real challenge. Determined to take back control of his health, Hal committed to making a change.

In this “after” photo, Hal proudly showcases the results of his hard work and commitment. After consistently strength training with me twice a week and making changes to his diet on his own, Hal has lost 26 pounds. The transformation is especially noticeable in his neck, chest, waist, and abdomen. His shirt fits much looser now, and his hernia no longer protrudes like it did before. One of the biggest wins is he can now get up and off the floor with ease something that once felt nearly impossible.

Results

By training with me twice a week and improving his diet, Hal has successfully lost 26 pounds. He has made major strides in his physical strength, endurance, and mobility. Back when we first started, getting up from the floor was a real struggle for Hal, but now it’s one of the biggest signs of how far he’s come. He can now get up effortlessly, from he’s cleaning out his A/C drain line to playing with his grandchildren on the ground. Currently, our focus is on continuing his weight loss while incorporating gait training to strengthen his legs and joints. This will improve his posture and balance, lower his risk of falling, and further enhance his mobility and overall quality of life.
